Another double challenge for me. Made this little tag for this weeks PTW, the challenge is spots and stripes, and for Spoonfull. Their challenge is blue and green. The DP are from Daisy Bucket, ribbon from Anita's and punchouts from Deja Views. For the image I used one of my own stamps (which I actually don't own myself, my lovely pal stamped it for me...)Rockstar Luca, I think he is called. I coloured him in with promarkers. This is a card for my pal's little rockstar baby Arjen, he is one next month, so th ought I'd better get organised, since I have about 10 birthday cards to make for may!! Cold and dull here again today, and I have to go to work...noooooo!!!Have a great tuesday!

Gone a bit sketch mad this week, just can't get enough of them at the mo. For this challenge I used some of my own stamps, that I have designed for Sugar Nellie. The main image is skate Luca and the two little skulls are from the Totally Tattoos range. I coloured them in with promarkers. The "D" and "one" punch outs are from a paperpad by Deja Views (little ones) For the DP I used some doublesided paper from Daisy Bucket. Really like the bright funky colours. This card is for my pals little boy that turns one next month. He is such a funky little pirate dude, I had to incorporate some skulls on the card. Thanks for looking, I am away to work...sigh...
Gorgeous sketch over at Friday Sketchers this week. I have made a post it note holder and incorporated the sketch in the project. Really simple project, but very handy. I have put some magnetic strips on the back, so this one will go on my fridge. (Got memory like a fish after having all them kids...lol..)DP are from Aunt Gerti's garden, the image is from Sugar Nellie (by Elisabeth Bell). For the sentiment I used my mini stamp alphabet from Studio G. Ribbon from Anita's. Circles and flowers are cut out from the paper to match. Such a dull day today, no wonder I got so much done...lol...have a good monday!
Monday again and another great challenge over at Cupcake. This week it is Caryn that has set the challenge, to use 5 embellishments. I made box with a pull out chocolate bar. I used a cute Tilda image and some We R Memory Keepers DP. (Precious Metal)For my five embellishments I have used
* Blue ribbon from Anita's
* Two headpins with some bradjewellery(gift from a lovely friend)
* Two cut out layered flowers
So much fun, but when chocolate is involved in the project,it gets kinda hard not to eat it...lol...so I gave it to a friend in need of a choccie fix. Had so much fun making this project, can't wait to get stuck into next weeks. Havea great week and thanks for popping by.

Evening. Hope you all had a lovely weekend. Here is some pictures from this morning of my boys. We were on a lovely forest walk in a place called Cabrach, about 20 minutes from where I stay. The boys found some big boulders and climbed on them, and Jed was fascinated by a little stream. They could have thrown stones for hours. It was really hot when we were out,but when we got back it was lashing it down and then there was hail stones...don't understand this scottish weather...lol...finished the Starwars mural I have been working on, will put some pictures up next week. Sorry short post but have a pile of ironing todo....have a good evening and thanks for looking.
This fortnight over at The Sugar Bowl the challenge is to make a card or project for a male. Young or old doesn't matter. Ofcourse you have to use a Sugar Nellie stamp. I have gone and used one of my own stamps (Karate Luca), this card is for my pal's little boy Lucas, he is turning 8 next month. I coloured Luca in with promarkers. Used some DP from Prima (spaceboy), cut outs from Deja Views (little ones) and used another one of my own stamps from the Totally Tattoos line, and stamped "Lucas" with my mini alphabet cube from Studio G. Not a very nice day today, managed to take the kids for a walk in the Cabrach forest early this morning, so I don't feel so bad now they are absorbed in their Nintendo DS'. Thanks for looking.
Another super fun challenge over at Doubledutch this fortnight. For this challenge the Doubledutch team want you to make a doorhanger. I am the queen of doorhangers...lol..my house is full of them...lol...but I thought I'd make something different this time. I made a doorhanger with a little pocket on the front. I put a little treatbag in it. There is lots of things you can use this doorhanger for.If you have a baby, you could put their dummy in there. Anyways I used a spring Tilda for this cute little project. I coloured her in with promarkers. The DP are from K&Co,used some ribbon and fibres I got on Ebay. Used a headpin from Williams, a mini safety pin I bought in Tesco's, some stickon pearls from stash and a mini tag that I got from Doubledutch a while ago, when I won a loyalty reward! Had loads of fun doing this project. Shame my kids spotted the sweeties and now they are all gone. Put some potpuri in a bag in it, bet they don't want to eat that...lol..have a great sunday!

Used my Cricut machine to cut out some lettering and flowers for embellishments, used some pink buttons I got in a junkshop, some ribbon from Trimcraft and for sentiment I used a SU stamp. Black and white cardstock from the Papermill in Aberdeen. Sorry not a lot of posts beginning of this week. No tutorial this month over at Sugar Sugar, but a brilliant challenge. This month you are to make something for Easter, but not a card. I used an empty egg carton and decorated it with some DP from K&Co and a cute Cotton Rabbit image. (Sugar Nellie ofcourse, since you have to use Sugar Nellie stamps over at the Sugar Bowl) Also used some ribbon, headpins and buttons from stash and filled the carton with creme eggs, which was torture since I wanted to eat them all!! Have a nosy at this monthly challenge HERE!I am away to make dinner, thanks for looking!
Over at Daring this week, the challenge is to make a masculine card. I have chosen to make a birthday card for a little boy. Using Basic Grey Archaic DP. Used two different wool and a button from stash. I drew the image up and coloured it in and used the cracked glass technique on it. (last months technique over at Sugar Sugar @ The Sugar Bowl) Simple card for a boy that loooves his dragon and dinosaur toys. Gotta put another post up before work...I AM STRESSED...lol...have a good day and thanks for looking.
Stumbled on this brilliant challenge blog. This week there is a sketch and a challenge, BRILL! The sketch is by Michelle and the theme for this weeks challenge is to make a card for a child. I used some Deja Views DP (Little ones) and some letter punchouts that you also get with these papers. I also cut some flowers out of the paper and stuck on some stick on pearls, that I bought of Ebay. Used some ribbon from Trimcraft and the image I drew up and coloured in with promarkers. Didn't have a stamp to use on the card. It's for a boy and girl twins birtdhday. Really hard to find a stamp for twins...hrmmm...maybe do some sketching...lol...have a great day and thanks for coming by.
Made another card incorporated in two challenges for this week. Am sooo behind on my craft stuff, had a lot of drawing to do this weekend and some baby books and things to make for a couple of ladies. This card is for Cute Card Thursday, and the challenge is "Floral Fantasy", so I have gone flower mad with the DP(Dovecraft), and I used the sketch for this weeks Friday Sketchers. I coloured a cute Gorjuss girl (from Sugar Nellie) with promarkers. Found a little purple star button to put in her hair in my stash box. Cut some flowers out of the paper to use as embellishments. Used some black and dotty ribbon from stash. Also used one of my own stamps (Totally Tattoos, by Sugar Nellie) for the sentiments. Put on some stick on pearls that I bought on Ebay. Gorjuss day outside, shame I have to go to work...mwah!! Have a nice evening and thanks for popping by.
Gorgeous sketch over at this weeks Cupcake Craft Challenge. For this challenge I have used some DCWV papers and a cute Annie (Sugar Nellie) image. I coloured her in with promarkers. All the embellishments are cut out from this paper. I also used some ribbon and a red headpin from stash. The other girls in the DT have made a fantasic job with the sketch. Had a blast doing this as usual. You should have a nosy over at Cupcake and join in. There is always something different every week. Lovely day today, and yesterday was fine aswell. We are getting spoiled with the weather up here. Taking Jed to the playpark this morning, he is obsessed with slides. Hope no one thinks I am crazy going down the slide with him over and over again...lol...have a good monday!

Tuesday already, can't believe how time flies. Here I have made a card for two challenges this week. For Papertake weekly the challenge was "Perfect Pastels", to make a card with pastel colours, and over at Spoonfull the task was to make a card with diecuts. I have made a little slot in tagcard, using DCWV papers and lots of pink plain cardstock. I used a cute Annie (Sugar Nellie) stamp and coloured her in with promarkers. The flower is a diecut that I have made with my little Sizzix sidekick machine (really want the Cuttlebug machine, shame on me for not having one yet!!) The stickon pearls I got on Ebay and the pink ribbon is from Trimcraft. Still chomping on Easter eggs, me and the kids. Think I should just put them away now. Hubby came home yesterday, since they drove all night and got on the early ferry, so maybe he can help me eat some choccies...lol.. Have a great week!

Had a busy day today, went to Dufftown to see a friend and take the boys to the playpark, and ended up with a car that wouldn't start...help! (Dufftown is about 4 miles from my house) Then my friend Jenny's husband came to rescue me and my boys and bumpstarted my car! Thank you Jenny and Clive!!!(Flippin Volvos and their light!) Anyways had a lovely day, boys got spoiled with lunch and choccie mousse and got home with a little parcel of papers from Jenny, so I just had to make something. So, for this weeks Sketch Saturday I have used some DCWV DP given to me by Jenny, and also a Tilda image, that Jenny gave me a couple of weeks ago. (Thanks again, Jenny!) I coloured her in with promarkers and cut some flowers out of the paper to use as embellishments. For the sentiment I used my little alphabet cube from Studio G. Sorry about the awful photies. My camera is broken so I have sent it off to get sorted. Schools are back tomorrow so I better stop waffling and get the boys uniforms ready...oh no...7am wake up alarm...mwah!! Have a great evening!

Had to join in with the fun over at Daring this week. What a fantastic challenge. This week the challenge is called "Hide and Seek", you have to have a hidden element on your card or creation. If you are really daring you can add a "seek" element aswell. So I have been "extra" daring and made an exploding box. (learned this project about a year ago) For the "hide" element, I have three yummy swedish marzipan treats in a goody bag with a SU stamped tag on the inside. For the "seek" I made I decided to do this box, since you have to open it to see what is inside..."seek". I used some K&CO DP (Amy Butler, Faded Chine, OMG, almost used it all up making this box..lol...)and some ribbon from Trimcraft. Used some white thick cardstock from the Papermill in Aberdeen. Such a fun project to make and it's priceless when you give it to someone and they open it up all surprised! Had a great time, as always, joining in with the Daring Cardmakers weekly challenge, why don't you go check it out and join in. Have a good weekend!
Had some time last night so I made this super pink card for this weeks Friday Sketchers. Really gorgeous sketch and the DT cards are as usual, fantastic. For this card I used some fushia pink paper from Making Memories, the watercolour collection. I used a cute Sugar Nellie stamped image by Leanne Ellis (Annie), I coloured her in with promarkers. Made some paperbeads (that I learned of a tutorial by Marlene, over at the Sugarbowl. Cut a flower and some flourishes out on my little Sizzix sidekick machine and layered them on white cardstock. Little bit of ribbon from Trimcraft. Button, beads and stick on pearls from stash. Really loved making this sketch into a card, think I have got pink overload though...lol...have a good saturday!

Amaaaazing sketch by Tiets over at this weeks Sugar Bowl challenge. I just had to join in. For this challenge I used one of my fav Sugar Nellie stamps by Leanne Ellis. I coloured her in with promarkers. I used K&Co DP. (Amy Butler - faded china) Loving these wallpaperstyle paper. Also cut the flowers out from this paper. Used a little bit of ribbon from Dovecraft, some headpins from Papercrafts Boutique in Elgin (think they are from "William's")and some blue buttons from stash. For the sentiment I used one of my own stamps from the Sugar Nellie "Totally Tattoos" range. I use them all the time since they are so versatile. Stamped the lettering with my little Studio G alphabet cube, that I love and use all the time. Had a great time making this card. The sketch is just fantastic!! Well, I am off to entertain the boys. Hubby back on tuesday, so that will give me a little bit of a break. Have a great weekend and thanks for coming to have a nosy.
Being very naughty this week. Made a card that I will be entering in three challenges. I don't really like to do this, but I am very limited in time this week being by myself with the boys, so hope you guys don't mind. For this weeks Papertake Weekly there is a wonderful sketch and for this weeks Spoonfull Of Sugar the challenge is "How old", and last but not least for this weeks Cute Card Thursday you have to make a card with brown and pink. (Marchmallows and Chocolate...yum..yum.)All three challenges I just couldn't miss, but didn't know which one I wanted to do most so I did all three in one card. I used a cute Tilda image and a little Magnolia rose image and coloured these in with promarkers. I used Making Memories papers (thanks again Jenny) and some brown cardstock from the Papermill in Aberdeen. (love that place!!)Also used some stick on pearls I got on Ebay and used my fantastic Studio G mini alphabet cube for the sentiment (it's falling apart, I have used it so much!!)Lovely day today, I am taking the boys to the ballpool in Elgin and then for some lunch and for a walk. Have a great day and thanks for popping by.

Here is a baby book I have made for one of my friends that have just become a granny. She is far too young looking to be a granny, but anyways. I bought some bookrings and some chipboard pages from Bo Bunny (they are ment to be inside one of their canvas books) and covered the chipboard with some ultra pink fushia watercolour DP from Making Memories. Used lots of buttons and little stick on pearls from stash. The paperflowers have all been cut out with my Cricut machine (Stamped, All Mixed up) and the ribbons are from Trimcraft and Anita's . How cute are the little crocheted hearts and the little flower that my uber talented pal Helena made for me. (check her blog out on my sidebar - Wicked Knits) Inside there is lots of pages to put photies in and at the back some extras for the little baba. Really timeconsuming to do these baby books, but sooo much fun...have to do another one for my other friends new baby for next week. Bring on the pink...
This fortnights Double Dutch challenge is here, and a fantastic one it is. (as usual!) This week you are to make a "teabag" and decorate is how you wish. I have made mine with a cute Gorjuss stamp, I coloured her in with promarkers. The red cardstock is from the Papermill in Aberdeen and the DP are from DCWV. The flowers aer also cut out from the paper. Ribbon is from Trimcraft and Anita's. The little stick on pearls I bought on Ebay. Not sure what to stuff in this teabag, fancy some choccies instead of tea...lol...anyways what a brilliant little project. I am sure I will use this over and over again. Thanks for coming by.

Gorgeous sketch over at Sketch Saturday this week, as usual. I have decided to do a boy card for my son Luca's birthday next month (very organised, lol...) I have used DP and cut outs from Deja Views (little ones) and some stick on pearls I got on Ebay. For the image I used one of my own stamps from the Luca (funny that...) and Nellie range from Sugar Nellie. I coloured him in and used a cracked glass technique that I learned over at the Sugar Sugar, Sugar Bowl monthly challenge. He is coloured in with promarkers. Short post, sorry, I am away to do the housework. Thanks for looking.
Combined two challenges into this card for this weeks Friday Sketchers and Daring Cardmakers. At Daring the challenge is "Feeling Fruity", to make a card with some kind of fruit on it. I love cherries (being a rockabilly...) so I decided to use some of my own stamps from the Totally Tattoo range over at Sugar Nellie. I also used a cute Gorjuss image, also by Sugar Nellie. The DP are from DCWV and the ribbon is from Tescos (I know....Tesco!!)The flowers were just cut out the paper. Loove that paper, (the sweet stack), can't believe I found some cherries on it. Anyways thanks for looking and have a good monday!
First DT challenge for me over at Cupcake Craft Challenges. Had so much fun doing this project. The challenge for the week is "folds", you are to make a card or project using at least 3 folds in your creation. I have made a diamond pop up card, using some DP from Papermania. (spring burst)For the image I used a cute Tilda image and two small Magnolia Tilda roses, all coloured in with promarkers. Ribbons are from Trimcraft and Dovecraft. The little stick on pearls I got on Ebay and the headpins I purchased in the nearest craftshop in Elgin, Papercrafts Boutique. The other DT members have done a fantastic job, why don't you go and have a nosy and join in. Have a great monday. I certainly will, I have a week off work...wohooo!!!
